PAST EVENTS:1ST ANNUAL
QUIZ COMPETITION 2006: It was organized at the Community Hall
of Haroon Nagar Sector-II,Phulwari Sharif, Patna, on 23rd of
April(Sunday), in which 22 teams participated and Eklavya School won the
competition.
2ND
ANNUAL QUIZ COMPETITION 2008: This mega quiz competition was
organized at IMA Hall, Gandhi Maidan, Patna on 26th of April
2008(Sunday). Nearly 150 teams participated in the event from different
schools of Patna. Nabeel Falah & Tahseel Ahmad of St. Karen's School won the
competition
3RD ANNUAL INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION 2009:
SAMAR
organised its
3rd Annual Inter
School Quiz Competition at Shri Krishna Science Centre, Gandhi Maidan Patna on
26th of July 2009 (Sunday). It was Loyola
High School who won the quiz
competition after a nail biting tussle among six teams, which were chosen by
rigorous prelim round. St. Karens High School (ICSE), Gyan Niketan,B.D.
Public School,
Patna
Muslim
High School & St.
Dominic
Savios
High School were the
other three teams who qualified for the Final Round.
Summer Camp
SUMMER CAMP 2009:
SAMAR organized a Summer Camp for 7 days for the students of Kamla
Nehru Sishu Vihar at Patliputra Colony, Patna from 22nd may 2009 to
30th May 2009. 40 students participated in camp, in which they
learnt about Mask Making, Origami. Students were also showed the movies, Extra
Terrestrial & Over The Hedge. Painting was also one of the art students
learnt about. Exciting games were played too.
SUMMER CAMP 2010: SUMMER Camp
2010 gone bigger this time by expanding its area of operation. As you all know we have been organising Summer Camp from 2007 in KAMLA NEHRU SHISHU VIHAR.
This year we included one more school in that area "NAV DEEPTI ACADEMY", not only that we included one more area in our programme, PHULWARI SHARIF. Two
schools were also covered in this programme, MOTHER's INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY &
AL-ASR SCHOOL. The programme was extended to seven days, 22-05-2010 to 28-05-2010, from 7am to 10am. Students will be taught the ART OF ORIGAMI,
PAINTING, MASK MAKING, HEADGEAR MAKING, COLLAGE MAKING, CALLIGRAPHY. MOVIE AND
THEATRE GAMES was also the part of the programme.
Theatre Festival
SAMAR ORGANISED "THEATRE FESTIVAL 09" AT KALIDAS RANGALAY, GANDHI MAIDAN,PATNA ON
18TH AND 19TH NOVEMBER 2009. 12 DIFFERENT SCHOOLS PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT.
UDAS MAT HO CHIINI ENACTED BY THE STUDENTS OF KILKARI STEAL THE SHOW BY
BAGGING 9 OF THE 13 AWARDS FOR THEIR SCHOOL.
